The eruption alert level for Shinmoedake in the Kirishima Mountains has been raised to "3," indicating "restrictions on mountain entry."

The evacuation order has been lifted as the alert zone for Mount Kirishima (Shinmoe-dake) has been reduced from approximately 4km to approximately 3km.

The route from Ebino Kogen to Kirishima Kokusai Hotel is currently not available.

Please rest assured that other routes will be operational as of Thursday, April 3rd.
